What we collect, and why

When you ask for a demo

The form asks for your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, fleet size, which plan interests you and a message. We use this only to reply to you and to arrange the demo you asked for. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or send you marketing you did not ask for.

We also record the IP address the request came from, purely to stop the form being abused by automated submissions.

When you look at a page

The server records the page address and the page you arrived from. It does not record your IP address, so these records cannot be traced back to you. There is no analytics service, no advertising network, no tracking pixel and no profiling. It is a count of which pages are read, nothing more, and it is deleted after 90 days.

If you become a customer

We keep your company name, a contact name, email and phone number, your subscription and its history, and records of invoices and payments. Payment card details are never stored on this site. Where a payment provider is used, the card is handled by that provider and we hold only a description such as the last four digits.

Cookies

This site sets two cookies, both strictly necessary, and no others. The details are on the cookie page.

Who else sees it

Nobody, other than the people at [NEEDS YOUR REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] who need it to do their job, and the providers who run our infrastructure:

• Our email provider, to send and receive the messages you send us.

We do not use an advertising network, a social media pixel, or an analytics company. Fonts and all other page assets are served from this website, so loading a page does not tell any third party that you visited.

How long we keep it

• Demo requests: deleted automatically after 730 days. You can ask us to delete yours

sooner, at any time, and we will.

• Page view records: kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
• Customer, invoice and payment records: kept for as long as the law requires business and tax

records to be kept.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. You can also complain to a data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this, we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing it.

Which rules apply

We sell to trucking companies in Arizona and elsewhere in the United States, and the business has a German presence at hyeb.de. Which privacy and consumer rules bind us depends on where the contracting company is established, not only on where our customers are.

A lawyer should look at this. confirm which legal entity contracts with customers and where it is established. If a German entity is the seller or the data controller, European data protection rules apply to this site regardless of the fact that customers are in the United States. If a United States entity is the seller, a different and mostly lighter set applies, together with Arizona's breach-notification law and the federal rules on advertising claims. This one answer changes the whole of this page, so settle it first.
